What part do the eagle during the Cold War?

As in the animal, symbol, or combat aircraft? The F-15 Eagle is one of the first warships of the U.S., and was a threat to Soviet air power at the end of the Cold War. The eagle was used as a symbol U.S. for a long time. The traditional representation of the same holding arrows in one heel and an olive branch in the other represents the way America deals with, with their problems.
