Side Plates Pad
Jon Boat with Foam padding on the sides.?
I’m trying to find the specific name for this.
On the sides, there’s metal plates covering the foam inside the boat. It’s supposed to make the boat unsinkable.
Does anyone know the specific name for this?
The panels seem to be blue, I don’t have any pictures that could help..
Don’t know the name, but just remember – if it floats, it can sink! The Titanic was supposed to be unsinkable. Boston Whalers are said to be close to unsinkable, because of the amount of foam thats put into the hull and construction, and I know of at least 1 that sank.
