Break into new bike?
Just bought a 2009 BMW R 1200RT. I had to travel home, two hours in a two-lane road, especially in fourth and fifth underway. The dealer gave me shit cause * t will not properly break down the engine (which was 16 miles on it), but I had to go home. Therefore, since then I have been taking place in the triangle, changing gears. I had two brand new cars, never "I interrupted," and both continued over 100,000 miles. While I keep it under 4000 RPM I'm fine "last minute" drive?
Your dealer is an ass. You have to drive you have to get home. Believe me, that the mileage is insignificant in the big picture. You should change the rpm and gears as much as possible though. There is a break in recommending routine in the owner's manual. I personally took it easy on my K1200 for a week or so, bu then lifted quickly rpm limit in the weeks after that. It is a show on cable called "Twist the throttle" or something similar to the episode on BMW that.In showed that each bike when it leaves the factory is basically LCh anyway. Go you and maintain the oil change interval schedule. It will be fine. What a great bike I chose. Most guys say they ride like he stole it.
