Locking Tool Made
Husky tool box key question?
I have a husky toolbox that i aquired for free… unfortunately i dont have the key,and working in a dealership, i need to lock my tool box…where can i have a key made for a husky toolbox?
really because I wasnt exactly sure if it was just a normal lock because it locks all the little drawers on it and the top. I figured it would be a special lock, the one i have also has the fold up top with two shocks…its also a top box… it doesnt have casters on it if that makes a difference
I just looked at my husky toolbox and the lock on the lid is the same thing that is used on file cabinets and desk drawers. You probably won’t be able to get a key made but you I am sure that you can replace the whole thing for about $20.00 Have you considered putting a hasp on the box and using a padlock? That would be more secure.
