Any tips for a first time racer?
I’m 20 years old, have been dreaming of getting into a race car for years. I have been on a pit crew and I help my buddy out with his late model sometimes this season. I work with UMARA on Saturday nights, and am pretty much obsessed with anything that has four wheels, turns left, and goes above 10 miles an hour… LOL… I am getting into a four-cylinder car Saturday night for my first race. I’m nervous about getting on the track for the first time, especially because I will be racing on a dirt track. As the days get closer the more nervous I become. Anyone have any tips to help me on my first night out?
These word came right from Buddy Baker in May when I asked him this question for my friends son. He said Quote ” Don’t let anyone tell you not to drive it in hard and deep, you can’t win if you don’t”
