Can trade in a car in a motorcycle showroom?
I have a 2004 Mustang Mach 1. Competition Orange, low miles and with gas prices they are, I am ready for another bike. I'm looking to change my MACH 1 for a Harley Davidson Heritage Softail Classic. Does anyone know if they will take the trade? I'd rather do Stupid question here (if it is), that at the dealership. thank you very much. DP
There's nothing stopping a motorcycle showroom to take your vehicle in trade, is only a matter of finding one that is willing to take one on trade. Conclusion – if you find someone willing to take your car in trade, expect Very bad business value in your car. There is no point arguing with a dealer about it, is just the way it is. Otherwise it is not worth the hassle for the dealer motorcycle. Good luck. I think it's a bad idea.
